Gunplay and a Violent Granny

Plus: a berry-eating girl, a restroom disturbance and other calls from Aliso Viejo to the Sheriff's Department, Nov. 16-20.

A caller asked deputies to check for a teenage boy with a gun in his waistband after he allegedly pointed the weapon at a female and pulled the trigger.

The caller noted that a group was filming the "crime" with a camcorder.

The report was made around 9:02 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Enterprise and Aliso Creek Road.

When grannies attack. 1:05 a.m. Monday. 0 block Pepperwood. A caller said her 87-year-old mother attacked her.

Suspicious BMW. 10:31 p.m. Sunday. 24100 block Hollyoak. A caller said three males in a silver BMW appeared to be casing the area.

Berry girl. 11:56 a.m. Sunday. 200 block Sandcastle. A caller said a customer found an 8-year-old girl eating berries off bushes near the road's center divider, adding that a man who claimed to be her father took custody of the girl a few minutes later and left in a red Volkswagen Jetta.

Unknown passenger. 7:30 p.m. Saturday. 0 block Sandalwood. A resident said a stranger was sitting inside the caller's car, which was parked on the caller's driveway.

Restroom disturbance. 12:22 a.m. Saturday. 0 block Las Flores. An informant reported a group of boys trying to pull a girl into the men's restroom by the community pool. The caller said he saw traces of blood.

Acting class? 10:01 p.m. Friday. Aliso Creek Road and Pacific Park Drive. A citizen reported a slapping noise and someone saying "break a leg."

Suspicious vehicle. 1:32 p.m. Friday. 26600 block Aliso Creek Road. A caller asked deputies to check for a man in his late 20s who was circling the parking lot in a dirty, white Ford truck.
