AVCA Discusses Summer Events

Beginning with the Fourth of July Celebration, the Aliso Viejo Community Association is set to host a variety of entertainment offerings in Grand Park.

To kick off summer the Aliso Viejo Community Association is planning to host several community events in July—beginning with the fourth of July celebration at Grand Park from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

"We will have live entertainment, complimentary bounce houses, face painting and carnival games," said former AVCA President Ray De Leon.

Food will be available for purchase from local nonprofit organizations, whose burgers are fantastic De Leon added.

Following Independence Day, the city will have movie nights. Families are invited to attend beginning July 8. Movies start at dusk in Grand Park. "How To Train Your Dragon" will be the first film showcased. 

For music connoisseurs, Aliso Viejo's annual concert series begins June 10. The concert runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., also at Grand Park.  Common Sense, a raggae-rock inspired band will kick off the series.
