Capistrano Unified needs vision from involved parents who understand what is best for our children. It also needs experienced leadership to handle the tough challenges that face our schools. Since taking office two years ago, I have provided that vision and leadership.

As Capistrano Unified board president, I have restored stability in our district. I have fought to ensure that our tax dollars support safe, well-maintained schools and that our children have top quality teachers.

As a native Californian, I am invested in our community. I have worked with members of our business community and the city of Aliso Viejo to enhance scholarship and educational opportunities throughout our schools. My daughter attends Oak Grove Elementary School, and my wife and I own a home in Aliso Viejo.

I am a father who supports local control and has fought against external challenges and difficulties that continue to threaten our schools locally and across the state. I have the know-how and vision needed to lead Capistrano Unified.

I look forward to continue serving the families and taxpayers of Aliso Viejo. Please join me in keeping Capistrano Unified the best large district in the state!
