Will Residents Soon Have Access to Green City Initiative Plans?

The Aliso Viejo City Council will vote on placing the Green Initiative draft narrative online for public view and comments.

The Green City Initiative will again be discussed during Wednesday night’s Aliso Viejo City Council meeting.

Council members will decide if the draft narrative portion of the Green City Initiative should be placed on both the city website and the Green City Initiative website for public viewing and comments.

At the last city council meeting, requested a timeline for implementation and cost to the city.

Other items on Wednesday’s agenda include the authorization of funds to match the Orange County Transit Authority M2 Environmental Cleanup Grant Program, which requires a minimum local match of 25 percent.

The City Manager will also be seeking council approval to begin looking for a contractor for the Stormwater Litter Control Project. This project has been estimated to cost the city $131,126 for the installation and maintenance of catch basin filter inserts.
