Readers' Choice: Vote for Best Pizza

Pizzas are like opinions. Everyone thinks they have the best one.

Perhaps the kind of pizza you like says a lot about you. Do you like traditional style or thin crust? Maybe California style with gluten-free crust and organic goat cheese? Then there’s the New York style you fold, shove and draw out a long string of cheese, as long as the length of your arm will take it. It makes me hungry just thinking about it.

In Aliso Viejo, we have all sorts of pizza and all sorts of pizza joints, from the family friendly to authentic Italian restaurants.

So the burning question is, who makes the best pizza in Aliso Viejo? Tough choice because they are plenty to choose from (not including your own). But here are the five that garnered enough nominations:

• Mobtown Pizza Cafe 
• Porky's Pizza
• Peppino's
• Z Pizza
• Cosmos Italian Restaurant 

On July 23 you'll get a chance to vote on which nominee is the best. Whoever gets the most votes will be named the Readers' Choice winner (and get a nifty certificate commemorating the event).

Just log-in and vote once for each category during the voting period for each listed category. Limit one (1) vote per person per category per Patch site for the duration of the voting period. So think hard, we're asking for your very favorite.

In the event of a tie, the Local Editor will decide the winner by counting the number of positive comments from readers on the candidate's business listing and in the Readers' Choice survey story that were made during the voting period and awarding it to the business that has the higher total number.

Winners in all Readers' Choice categories will be announced on Aug. 24 so cast your vote now!

The poll will open to accept votes from registered Patch users starting on July 23 and close at 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 17.
