Canyon Vista Croc-A-Palooza to Benefit PTA

Residents invited to the elementary school campus for carnival games and silent auction.

invites local families and residents to Friday’s Croc-a-palooza carnival and silent auction.

The carnival, which includes games and attractions like the bubble rollers, tea cups, giant slide, swing chairs, photo booth, bake sale, airbrush tattoos, face painting, caricatures and carnival games benefits the school’s parent, teacher association.

This year the carnival will include a silent auction with more than 250 items. Donated auction items include gift packages from Vans, Etnies, Volcom, Maui Jim, Microsoft, Sony, HP, Legoland and Yoga Works. Singed sports memorabilia will be auctioned too. Check out a fill list of the items here.

Live performances will take place throughout the event form:

  • Rikochet, 3:30 p.m.
  • Whiplash, 4:30 p.m.
  • Polynesian performing group, Le Polynesia brings island spirit to Canyon Vista with a Luau performance at 6 p.m.

PTA member Breann Shook said last year was their first carnival and the event welcomed more than 1,200 guests. This year “we expect that number to increase dramatically,” she said.
