City Hosts Ribbon Cutting for New Batting Cage Lighting

A ceremony will take place Aug. 30 to mark the installation of the new lights at the Aliso Niguel High School batting cages.

The city of Aliso Viejo is hosting a ribbon cutting Aug. 30 to celebrate the installation of lights at the Aliso Niguel High School batting cages.

The Aliso Viejo Little League and high school baseball teams will benefit from the lights' addition, which was a collaborative effort of the school, district and city.

For night practices, the high school baseball teams have been sharing the nearby Woodfield Park batting cages with Little League. The new high school lighting will free up practice times for the Little League teams
