Goats Go Green at Soka University

A natural form of weed whacking will take place around the campus for two-weeks.

In time for Earth Day, 500 goats are taking the environmentally friendly approach to weed whacking.

The goats will spend the next two-weeks helping to eliminate the fire hazard by eating down the grass and weeds along Soka University's 103-acre boarder.

The goats are protected by temporary fencing at night, along with a full-time herder that will stay on the property.
