Celebrate Fourth of July in Aliso Viejo

Enjoy the holiday with fireworks, apple pie contests and live entertainment in Grand Park.

The Aliso Viejo Community Association is preparing for their annual Fourth of July celebration at Grand Park.

The event includes:

The celebration begins at 6 p.m. and concludes after the fireworks display (which starts at dusk).

Wedny Casar, AVCA recreation director, said in previous years the maximum attendance for the Fourth of July Celebration has been 5,000.

Reminder: Personal use of fireworks is banned in the city of Aliso Viejo. Penalties range from a misdemeanor ticket to a felony charge, depending on the type of explosive used, according to Sgt. D.J. Haldeman with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

Haldeman encourages people to report the misuse of fireworks to the OCSD and Orange County Fire Authority.
