Seeking the Best Apple Pie Recipe
Think your apple pie is the best in Aliso Viejo? Enter the Fourth of July baking contest.
Show off your baking skills for the "Homemade Apple Pie Baking Contest" during the Aliso Viejo Community Association's Fourth of July celebration.
According to AVCA’s event flyer, "Pies will be judged on everything from presentation, appearance and freshness to originality of recipe, tastiness of the crust and texture and flavor of the filling."
Participants must enter the contest by June 25. To be eligible they must live in Aliso Viejo and/or be dues-paying AVCA members.

AVCA's Annual Fourth of July Bash

Where/When: Wednesday, July 4th from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Grand Park in the Aliso Viejo Town Center on Aliso Creek Road.
What: Live entertainment, bounce houses, face painting, carnival games, food for purchase and a fireworks show at dusk.
