Bat and Knife Fight Alarms Resident

Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Jan. 17-20.

A caller from the 24700 block of Via San Rafael said several people were getting ready to fight with knives and baseball bats.

The disturbance report was made around 3:39 p.m. Wednesday.

Suspicious vehicle. 7:14 a.m. Friday. El Toro Road and Aliso Creek Road.

Disturbance. 1:05 a.m. Friday. 0 block Stockbridge.

Pedestrian check. 10:18 p.m. Thursday. Cedarbrook and Napa Street. A 24-year-old man was arrested during a pedestrian check and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail with no bail set.

Citizen assist. 6:15 a.m. Thursday. 9200 block City Lights Drive.  Deputies arrested a 27-year-old woman and took her into custody at Orange County Jail with no bail set.

Vandalism report. 8:27 p.m. Wednesday. 0 block Elderwood. A resident said someone tried to pry their way into their garage, causing it to fail. The caller added that the same set of marks can also be seen on a neighbor's property.

Disturbance. 2:17 p.m. Wednesday. 26900 block La Paz Road.  A caller said solicitors who were harassing employees and customers were also blocking the store's handicap access path.

Patrol check. 7:36 p.m. Tuesday. 0 block Brandy Lane. A resident said someone stole her wallet and key's from her car.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 8:48 a.m. Tuesday. Town Center Drive and Enterprise. A caller asked deputies to check for a man in his 50s, with a shaved head, who was watching the ATM's near Bank of America, possibly to try and steal personal information.
