Aliso Viejo's waste collection service will recycle Christmas trees through a curbside program than began Thursday and extends through Jan. 10.
CR&R Waste and Recycling Services will pick up discarded trees during the community's regularly scheduled trash pick-up days.
Residents are asked to place their trees in or next to the green waste bins.
