This week's Grab 'n' Go brings you an assortment of celebratory fun! Whether you're toting around toddlers or teens, we have something for you. 

Look for the kids’ planner each Wednesday, and help us build the planner with your own suggestions and tips—just add them to the comment box. Even if you disagree with our picks, let us know. We want to hear from you!

EASTER PAIL EVENT
Where/When: Michaels, 26501 Aliso Creek Rd., Aliso Viejo. Sunday, April 10, 1 to 3 p.m.
Why go: Children 3 and older can have fun decorating an Easter pail.
Pricing:  Free, while supplies last.

PARTY FOR THE PLANET
Where/When: Santa Ana Zoo, 1801 E. Chestnut Ave., Santa Ana.  Saturday, April 9, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why go: To enjoy music, crafts, demonstrations and educational booths promoting conservation.
Pricing:  Adults $8, children 3 to 12 years $5, seniors (60 plus) $5.  Free for children under 3.  Free for Friends of Santa Ana Zoo members.

YOUTH EXPO
Where/When: Orange County Fair & Event Center, 88 Fair Dr., Costa Mesa. Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Why go: To see the talent of Orange County Youth (preschool through high school).  Exhibits, live entertainment and fun activities for the whole family.
Pricing:  Free admission.  $5 for parking.

AWARE TO CARE WALK 
Where/When: Laguna Niguel Regional Park, 28241 La Paz Rd., Laguna Niguel.  Saturday, April 9, 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m.  Meet at the ranger office next to the park entrance.
Why go: To learn about the diverse plant, animal and insect species in Laguna Niguel Regional Park.  Easy-level hike.  All ages and leashed dogs welcome.
Pricing:  Free admission.  $5 for parking.
