Grab 'n' Go Kids Planner: 'Let's Eat' at the Fair

The Orange County Fair, art classes and $1 movies.

Where/When:  Aliso Viejo Library, 1 Journey, Aliso Viejo.  Thursday, July 28, at 11 a.m.
Why go:  All ages are invited to hear stories read by the Sunshine Readers of the National Charity League.
Pricing:  Free

Where/When:  O.C. Fair and Event Center, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa.  July 15 - Aug. 14, Wednesday – Friday, noon to midnight, Saturday – Sunday 10 a.m. to midnight.  Box office hours Wednesday – Sunday 10 a.m. to 9 pm.
Why go:  For the food (this year's theme is "Let's Eat"), the animals, carnival rides and games, competitive exhibits, concerts and more.
Pricing:   $11 for ages 13-59, $8 for Seniors (60+), $6 for Children (6-12), Children under 6 are free.  Parking $7, preferred parking $12.

YOUTH ARTS EDUCATION DAYS
Where/When:
  Festival of Arts, 650 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach.  Tuesday – Friday through Aug. 26.  11 a.m. to midnight.
Why go:  Ages 7-12 can attend classes in mixed media, jewelry making, collage and more.
