Slurry Seal Project Temporarily Closes Some City Roads

Residents impacted by road closures will be notified by mail or by door hanger.

Road construction throughout the city will continue this week for the annual slurry seal pavement maintenance program.

Work to improve the life and quality of city streets includes "removing and replacing pavement marking and adding a coat of slurry seal," according to a city press release.

The following roads will be affected during maintenance:

  • Aliso Creek Road from Alicia Parkway to SR-73
  • Wood Canyon from Aliso Creek Road to Oakgrove/Westridge
  • Enterprise from Aliso Creek Road to Town Center
  • Glenhurst
  • Boundary Oak
  • Autumnglen
  • Summerfield
  • Springdale
  • Knollwood
  • Deerhurst
  • Wolverine Way
  • Foxborough

Some roads may be closed throughout the project, but all residents impacted by the closures will receive notice by mail or door hangers. The city will also post signs.

Construction in school zones will be completed April 4 to 8, during Spring break.

The slurry seal portion of the maintenance is scheduled to finish on April 8. Any changes will be announced.
