On June 15, Modern Romance Boutique is leaving Aliso Viejo Town Center.
The women's apparel retailer leased at a low rate about three years ago, one employee said. But now that the economy is improving, the lease price sharply rose, forcing the business out.
The employees will all be transfered to the Fashion Island location.
Before they close, the store will offer discounts on all its inventory from 30 to 50 percent off.
