An evening with Jim Steyer, author of Talking Back to Facebook

St. Mary’s School is hosting James Steyer, author of Talking Back to Facebook. Mr. Steyer is one of the nation’s most respected experts on children’s media and education. He is founder of Common Sense Media, a leading organization dedicated to improving media and technology choices for kids and families. His new book, Talking Back To Facebook explores how social media and cellphone technology have transformed the lives of today’s young people in very dramatic and surprising ways. Mr. Steyer is a frequent guest on shows including The Today Show, Good Morning America, CNN National News, Fox News, Oprah and The Early Show on CBS.

This event will take place on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 6:30pm in the St. Mary’s School Gymnasium. This is free and open to the public but reservations are required and can be made at www.smaa.org.
