Blotter: Too Fast, Too Reckless

The following is a selection of calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from April 26 to April 29.

A caller said three teenagers riding in a red Mercedes were racing around the neighborhood and flashing their lights at other drivers near the intersection of Pacific Park Drive and Enterprise.

The call was made around 8:03 p.m., Tuesday.

Petty theft report. 11:39 a.m. Friday. 26700 block of Aliso Creek Road.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 9:08 a.m. Friday. 23400 block of Via San Gabriel.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 9:54 p.m. Thursday. El Toro Road and Calle Corta.

Disturbance. 2:19 p.m. Thursday. 100 block of Verdin Lane. A resident said construction workers working nearby kept on throwing their trash on his property.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 11:55 p.m. Wednesday. 0 block of Lighthouse Point. A caller reporting abuse taking place in a home said other people are being held against their will in two locations within neighboring cities.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 9:11 p.m. Wednesday. 27600 block of Aliso Creek Road. A resident asked sheriff deputies to check for two men in the parking lot, who wrre possibly smoking marijuana inside their car.

Disturbance. 5:47 p.m. Wednesday. Aliso Creek Rd and Pacific Park Drive. A caller said a man driving a black Ford SUV with a child in the back seat was preventing other drivers from leaving the area.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 4:09 p.m. Wednesday. 5000 block of City Lights Drive. A caller reported two men who have been squatting in the laundry room and electrical closets within the property who were doing drugs and leaving debris behind.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 11:13 p.m. Tuesday. 0 block of Redstone. A resident asked sheriff deputies to check for a man who was sleeping under a blanket near the pool of their gated community.

Reckless driving. 3:08 p.m. Tuesday. El Toro Road and Aliso Creek Road.  A caller said a man, who had a dog on his lap, was driving on the wrong side of the road.

Drunk driving. 2:41 p.m. Tuesday. El Toro Road and Aliso Creek Road. A caller reported a man, wearing a straw hat, who was swerving all over the road.
