Crime Reports: Masturbating Man and Squabbling Solicitors

A selection of calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Dec. 13-16.

A caller reported a man in his 30s near Pacific Park Drive and Aliso Niguel that was masturbating as he drove around in a blue sedan, staring at women.

The indecent exposure call was made around 2:44 p.m. Wednesday.

Assist outside agency. 7:21 a.m. Friday. Pacific Park Drive and La Paz Road.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 9:41 p.m. Thursday. 200 block Woodcrest Lane. A resident asked sheriff deputies to check for a black BMW that was seen parking in front of vacant homes.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 12:08 p.m. Thursday. Sandbridge and Heatherwood. A resident reported a man attempting to solicit money for college from the him, saying he was going to come back later after being turned down. The man had a heavy build, spiked hair and was wearing blue sweat pants.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. 0 block Emerald Terrace. A resident said a man in his 20s with curly hair, that was asking for money towards "communications", started screaming at the caller after she refused to give him money.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 12:10 p.m. Wednesday. 0 block Blackbird Lane.  A caller said two men, both wearing white shirts, were asking her personal questions and became mad when she refused to answer.

Stolen vehicle. 8:20 p.m. Tuesday. 0 block of Partridge Lane. A resident said someone stole their Ford Ranger.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 4:50 p.m. Tuesday. Alicia Parkway and Hollyoak. A caller asked sheriff deputies to check on a balding man that was wearing a dark green jacket and jeans, who was yelling profanities at passing cars.
