Suspect in Custody, Victim ID'd in Laguna Hills Stabbing

Orange County Sheriff's Department officials are interviewing the suspect in Arizona where he was arrested after fleeing the scene.

Alexandra Tang, 24, of Santa Barbara was the victim of the Saturday stabbing murder in Laguna Hills; the suspect fled the scene and police are interviewing him in Arizona .

, 25, was arrested in Mesa, Arizona. He is expected to be extradited and charged with the murder, according to the Sheriff's Department release.

"On Saturday, September 1, 2012, at about 11:15 a.m., Orange County Sheriff’s Department deputies and the Orange County Fire Authority were dispatched to a residence in the 22000 block of Caminito Tasquillo in Laguna Hills," according to the release. "Authorities arrived to find the homeowner doing CPR on a female adult. Paramedics took over first aid, but the victim was eventually declared 'deceased' at the scene.'"

Police and wanted Pinski for questioning as a "person of interest." The release Sunday afternoon is the first in which the death was identified as a homicide.
