AVCA President and Vice President Terms End, Elections Soon
The Aliso Viejo Community Association prepares for an event-filled July and board of directors elections.
The board of directors said goodbye to two of their members Monday night as election day draws near.
Ross Chun, president and Katie Koster, vice president, cast their closing votes and made their last motions during their final meeting as part of the AVCA board.
“It has been a genuine pleasure and I hope to continue to have interaction and an opportunity to serve the association,” Chun said.

Chun was a member of the board for six years, nearly four of those years he held the position of president. He said during his time there were far too many memories to select a favorite, but one that stands out is the night Savannah’s Organic Ranch received enough delegate votes to enter into a lease agreement with AVCA.
“It took seven attempts and felt like it would never happen. In the end, the vote passed and so many people were excited at the results, it was overwhelming. I loved being a part of it,” he said.

Aliso Viejo delegates are encouraged to attend the candidate forum at the Aliso Viejo Country Club on June 19 to speak with the candidates and ask questions before the June 25 annual delegate meeting and election.
