High School Program Introduces CSI: Aliso Viejo

An item on Monday's Capistrano Unified School District board meeting suggests a forensic science pilot program be introduced at .

As part of the science electives, this laboratory-based class would combine elements of the biology and chemistry curriculum.

The course would utilize scientific investigation and experimentation focusing on the following areas:

  • Acids and bases, etc.

All of the lessons would be related to real-world application and prepare students for possible careers in postsecondary education and medical and forensic fields.

Additional classroom equipment and materials would be funded received from site funds.
