I am a freshman here at Soka and I’m really happy I ultimately decided to come to this school. I think I mesh well with the other students here and I’m enjoying my time here. The campus is really beautiful which makes walking around either to class or for fun even more enjoyable, and the dorms are well-facilitated as well. As a freshman, I still haven’t taken many courses but the ones I’m taking this semester for the most part I feel I am learning a lot in. The small class size is really helpful for someone like me because I like interactive classes and if I have a question I just have to ask it. The professors are also easily accessible so whenever I have a question I either just go to their office or email them my question. There are about 35 clubs on campus and there’s basically something to do for everyone. It was actually hard for me to choose just a few clubs to be a part of because there were so many that I wanted to join! Luckily, you can switch clubs every year and try out all different ones. The campus is super active and fun which is why I really am glad I chose this school.
