Aliso Niguel Football Suffers Hard Loss

Aliso Niguel football, facing a tough year, faced off against San Juan Hills High, which may be fielding its best football team since … ever.

The six-year-young school is now 7-1 on the year (2-0 in the Sea View League) after cremating Aliso Niguel Friday. That puts them tied for first with Dana Hills.

Meanwhile, the Wolverines have yet to see a Sea View League win.

Score: San Juan Hills 46, Aliso Niguel 6

Key Stats: Gibson passed for a whopping 314 yards, completing 14 of 18 attempts. The Wolverine’s Ryan Walker rushed 106 yards, but it was nowhere near enough. The Stallions scored early (first play of the game) and often.

Pivotal Moment: With this kind of victory, it’s hard to call one. Aliso Niguel didn’t put up any points on the scoreboard until 3:18 left on the clock in the first half. But the Stallions had already scored four touchdowns. It was never close.
