Community Leaders to Serve 'Blizzards' for Dairy Queen Charity Event

Proceeds from the one-day event benefit the Children's Miracle Network.

On Aug. 11, the Aliso Viejo Dairy Queen will donate the day's proceeds from "Blizzard" sales to the Children's Miracle Network and local children's hospitals, including Children's Hospital of Orange County at Mission Hospital.

Aliso Viejo community leaders will help serve "Blizzard" ice cream treats to customers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the one-day charity event.

According to a company press release, over the last 26 years International Dairy Queen has raised more than $86 million for the Children's Miracle Network.
