An Aliso Viejo caregiver accused of elder abuse and sexual battery says he's not guilty of the felony. Robert Ligayo, 62, is due back in court Wednesday.
Ligayo was arrested Monday after a 66-year-old Laguna Woods client told the Orange County Sheriff's Department she had been abused by the man over the past six months.
Ligayo has been a licensed elderly caregiver since 2001 and has worked for several caregiver companies in Orange County, Krause said.
